THIS IS GOING TO BE BY FAR THE LONGEST RESPONSE ON THIS POST :|a (unless someone asks for SOTU, but I've already got that one typed up on notepad, SO HA.)

The short version of Albert on Dera is: HE LOVES HIM ... BUT IT'S COMPLICATED.

Dera and Albert are similar in age and in short tempers :|a. Sooo with the way they interact, Dera was pretty much always on the fast train to "best friend/practically siblings" territory. Which is pretty much THE WORST position to be in from a leader standpoint, because that position is the one that gets the most crap from Albert 8D. What I mean is, Albert LIKES DERA A LOT!!!1 ... but he doesn't necessarily respect his opinion all the time and isn't afraid to talk back to him :|a. In Sabra this is ... nnnot such a great idea, obvs 8D. He thinks Dera is crazyyyy paranoidddd.

Albert isn't even sure what he likes so much about Dera! IT'S JUST A FEELING!! Albert has a lot of those (often they are wrong but in this case they are aren't). He was the first person he met when he woke up and he was so excited to see Albert, so there is that "FIRST BOND!!!" attachment, as well as a fondness for the "Person who stayed up all night worrying over me and took care of me." He's had enough conversations with him by now to KNOW that Scowl is a really good person, but he doesn't fundamentally get why he's so tsundere about it. He doesn't understand what his hang up is \o/! You're a nice person, why not show it?! Why do you have to be so goddamn tough about everything?! He tries to be nice or concerned and it gets thrown back in his face 8D! To Albert that's pretty much akin to the worst kind of rudeness, and Dera is great at rude, so of course he reverts to FIVE YEAR OLD CHILD around Dera easily. He'll also forgive him easily in ten minutes time! But yeah.

Basically, it is a bit of a love/hate relationship from Albert's end with an extra dose of CONFUSION thrown in there too. WHY YOU GOTTA BE SO CONFUSING BRO.

... Am I allowed to ask for Dera on Albert considering you pretty much addressed it in your SOTU?

I forget exactly what I said there so I can reiterate it in long version here.

Scowl loves Albert! He loves every member of Hydra by default from the moment they wake up. And, as of yet, not one has given him a good enough reason to stop doing that. :|a However in Albert's case, their first conversation involved trying to explain the issues with Canis to him and getting told to leave him out of it. And Scowl has been placing a lot of blame on himself for the situation with that team! He understands that he's not got the best temper and that the things he does in games are terrible and don't win him any points. But him playing to protect his team and being cranky has (so he believes) resulted in attacks against Hydracula in games. And while he doesn't feel like he's done anything any worse than anyone else in Sabra the feeling that it happened because of the kind of person he is is a pretty strong one. 8|a KIND OF HATES HIMSELF OVER IT. S-so hearing "leave me out of this" translated in Dera's view of things to "leave me out of this problem that you created for the team \o/ I just woke up why do I have to worry about a situation like this this sucks ahhh" since that is kind of how he is thinking of himself right now.

SO teammate that he loves and wants to protect clearly thinks he's a nuisance causing problems for the team. 8( And he is unsure how to deal with that at all and can't feel quite as connected to him since he is being stupid. And since he can't feel connected he flips into tsundere mode instead of calm dere like he would with the rest of the team. 8|a

D-DID THAT ALL MAKE SENSE and if it did tell me about Albert and Yayoi too 8)

OKAY. THAT ONE'S PRETTY SIMPLE REALLY.

Yayoi falls neatly into Albert's idea of the "ideal girl". She's nice, polite, normal, caring, logical, non-threatening, feminine, pretty, and pings him in his need-to-protect-girls place. (And as he found out, isn't afraid to stand up for what's right!!) Even without that last one, he pretty much got an instant very superficial crush on her right from the get-go. HORMONES YAY!

Then the second room in Game 93 happened and he worked up a MASSIVE GUILT COMPLEX about it. He feels partly responsible for what happened to her, and I don't think I can explain it any more clearly than he just did in the thread we just had, SO. That's that.

... That's about it. He likes her and is awkward around her. Also Red mentioned him HAVING COMPETITION ON HYDRA and now he is curious as to which one of his bros is also crushing on her 8|aaaa.

that reminds me she should ask him about Fang and Sparta. SHE THINKS THEY ARE TWINS RIGHT NOW 8|a

Yayoi likes Albert! He pings her as a very good sort of person. He was clearly worried about everyone during that game, and she doesn't begrudge him not stepping up at all. He had the most valid reason of anyone to want to stay out of the punishments since Excel was visibly injured and got sick during the first room. His obligation to his partner was the most pressing one! So she never even thought there was anything to forgive regarding him and the game. :|a WAS DOIN WHAT HE HAD TO DO

And then he was very nice and sent her flowers to cheer her up. :( She doesn't realize they're anything but platonic as is only right according to Air Gear laws, but they're still a very nice gesture. And the conversation they just had only upped his good points since he was more worried about her than his own injuries and 8(

noooooooooooooooooooooo doooooooooooooooooooooooooooomed 8(!!!! STUPID AIR GEAR. ... Well I suppose it's okay, Albert is about as fail as an Air Gear boy anyway.

HOW IS THAT EVEN A QUESTION Albear loev everyone by default. Also he does not judge teams as a whole until he's met them as a whole! Which I don't think he has for any team except Hydra and now most of Cepheus. But okay going into detail--

Vulpecula: PARTNER TEAM!!! He doesn't know much about them except that they're his partner team and he has mixed feelings about Excel. Anyway, he'd protect them in a heartbeat automatically because he is loyal like that.

Pyxis: OH GOD he is trying so hard to stay neutral and "not gonna judge them until I meet the rest of them :|" after Game 92 but after seeing Blood's behaviour HE IS KIND OF TOO SCARED TO APPROACH THEM so until one of them approaches him, he will be steering clear \o/.

Monoceros: he met Castiel and he liked Castiel! Otherwise he doesn't really have an opinion of them at all yet.

Cepheus: A++++ bro team. Would hang out at again.

Cygnus: Has no opinion of. He met Kohaku who was helpful but kind of didn't really leave a strong impression on him. I don't think he even noticed her in Game 93 at all, he was too busy worrying about his own shit.

Lepus: :|a... HE FEELS REALLY BAD FOR THEM because on the one hand they are the LEPER TEAM and no team deserves that. On the other hand, HE SAW MIKAILA, NOT GONNA LIE, SHE FREAKED HIM OUT. A LOT. And a lot of other people haven't exactly painted their team for him in a great light either. He will probbaly defend them next time if he ever sees someone picking on them without good reason, because he just feels awful about what happened in the game, but like Pyxis, he's not going to go out of his way to seek them out until he knows them better either. S-Spiders are terrifyingggg /o\.

Hydra: BEST TEAM!!!!!!!!!!1

Canis: ............... lololol. Albert LIKES everyone he's met on Canis so far. Recent scoldings from Shigure have made him kind of sour about that, but at the end of the day Albert's only argumentative, not openly rebellious. After a conversation like that, he won't seek them out again, mostly because it's more trouble than it's worth to do so. (He knows they take turns babysitting him, so.)

Lacerta: Allen and Razzy's team! Nice people so far :3.

Orion: He's met Kirk, Mitsuru and Kirika. He ... isn't quite sure what to make of the latter two! He knows they're not bad, and he's not wary of them, but he just can't get a READ on them at all and that makes him ... awkwarrrdd. HOWEVER he loev Kirk and looks up to him a lot 8D.

Pavo: He couldn't get a read on Lenalee from game 93. He met Howl though and he likes him! So reserving judgement for now, until he meets more.

Delphinus: Ha ha there's one in each category here. Soujirou: TERRIFYING. Zero: can't get a read on. Edward: GOOD GUY \o/. Because he's wary of Soujirou, he won't go seek Del out either, but he likes Edward and will seek him out. He's reserving judgement on the rest of the team for now too.

Corvus: NEW GUYS!!! Will be willing to help them out until given a reason not to \o/.

Lynx: Same as above really. \o/

IT IS THE MOST SUBTLY AMAZINGLY GAY THING THAT COULD HAVE POSSIBLY HAPPENED EVER. In the future arc Dera is staying in a room with Tenth at first. Then for SOME REASON he moves OUT of Tenth's room and INTO YAMAMOTO'S. WITH NO FUSS OR COMPLAINT OR ANYTHING it is not even done onscreen. He is just THERE. CHILLIN OUT WHILE YAMAMOTO NAPS. So that is basically why.

What memory do you want to get first and why? :|a

OH MAN THAT'S A HARD QUESTION. There's SO MANY to choose from (forty-something if I recall correctly) and so many different ways they could play out too. /goes to look them over

SELFISHLY, I'd have to say I most want either the shooting range memory or the DUMB PIRATE FIGHT memory because they both involve SKILLS!!!! that would make Albert feel much less useless... something he is feeling SUPER KEENLY right now and it is getting him down.

I also wouldn't mind getting the DADDY HAS GONE CRAZY memory back early too for maximum horrible trauma impact 8D 8D 8D. Or the scene where he nearly confesses his love to the Count because. LOL WHAT.

Character you most want to see in Sabra (and why) that is NOT from one of your current canons, but that you don't want to app! (Or if you can't think of one that you don't want to app, I suppose one you do works too |D.)

If Dera was stalking Albert while he was talking to the new kids today, what are Dera's thoughts on the new kids from a... stalkery perspective?

Arrow is okay so far. :|a Non-aggressive, calm, didn't seem to be upsetting Albert any.

Rory is also okay. He seems kinda tense to Dera, but not in a way that makes him concerned. Typical new guy who just woke up and is slightly on edge sort of vibe.

Dean is MILDLY concerning since he got Albert to snap a little 8|a But he checked his behavior fairly quickly so it didn't leave a strong (read: lasting) impression on Dera. He is keeping a bit more of an eye on that conversation than the others though.

And Meridian he is IMPRESSED with since she fought the giant flying thing 8D BADASS TINY GIRL OMG

What does Albert think of being stalked everywhere?

LE SIIIIGHHHHH. It's annoying but he understands it comes with good intentions so he puts up with it. He'll probably start to protest if it goes on more than like, two weeks, though.

What was Dera's original wish when he first came to Sabra and how has that changed since coming here? (And if applicable, do you think it'll change again in the future or revert back to the original?)

Original wish is either for some future canon problem that hasn't come up in plot yet (since I will eventually update him to current events) or for Vongola to live happy and safe lives maybe idk. MAYBE TO BRING HIS MOM BACK?? It really depends on where canon is if I ever let him win.

It changed once when he got a memory that's made him think he and presentYamamoto are both dead, so he assumes it's to bring people back to life. And it changed again when Tsuna went to Foreman. (River took on the responsibility to wish Vongola back home, Scowl will wish for them to have long lives and peaceful deaths). It prooobably won't be changing again now.

Albert's thoughts on Hydra?

BASICALLY HE LOVES EVERYONE.

He sees Hydra as the "tough guy with a heart of gold" team. They project tsun but he knows they are really dere inside! He has a few feelings of resentment about the whole ... thing ... that went down today but idk he's done fighting about it. He also sees them as the SUPER BACHELOR TEAM cuz. that's what they are. ... DID YOU WANT RESPONSES ABOUT EACH INDIVIDUAL (sans Scowl since I already did him) OR DID THAT SUFFICE?

- Once I've seen more about how they work and get a better idea of how to run a good one (I only watched the most recent round of Heart Games), I'd also love to run a Heart Game for Albert, though much later on when he's regained a fair chunk of his memories back, obvs. Not for a long time! BUT IT'S UP THERE. So many delicious issues 8D;;;.
- Die at one point. Probably not excessively, but it is something he should do. For the experience. :'D
- HAVE AT LEAST ONE BADASS MOMENT. He fails at ... mostly everything ... mostly all the time ... so it would be nice for him to have just one Crowning Moment of Awesome. ... IDK IF IT WILL EVER HAPPEN THOUGH.
- I would fucking love to play with a Franz and ALL THE DELICIOUS TRAUMA IT WOULD BRING, no lie. But I won't hold out for it because I'm pretty sure nobody would ever app him.
