Idk if I can answer this one properly, since all Albert really saw of Masamune was in the first room of Game 93 and it was mostly Razzy doing the talking and decision-making. Not only that, but he had problems of his own to take care of at that time (namely Excel) and he hasn't really interacted directly with him at all after the game,, so... he really hasn't registered on the radar at all!
